![]() | Larry Foster, M.D., F.A.A.O.S. is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon whose enthusiasm for the game of golf has earned him the nickname "Dr. Divot". He earned his medical degree from Columbia University and served his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City. The subject of golf injuries has been a special interest of Dr. Foster's for over a decade. Describing himself as "a bad golfer, but a good golf orthopedist", Dr. Foster looks forward to teaching fellow golfers how to prevent and treat most common golf injuries in his book "Dr. Divot's Guide to Golf Injuries."
